As we approach Thanksgiving, a time of sharing and remembering, we invite you to participate in our Trees of Love & Thanksgiving project with a light to honor or memorialize a loved one.

Sponsoring lights not only shows appreciation for loved ones who have been meaningful in your life, but lights are also a visual tribute to them. The lights will illuminate the trees at the hospital’s Main Entrance well into the New Year.  For each person you wish to honor, a gift of $10 will brighten those lights.

The family or person honored will be notified of your donation.  The names of both the donor and honoree/s will be posted on the Trees of Love board located at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital main lobby.

The CDH Auxiliary and the Pastoral Care Committee join together each year to promote the Trees of Love & Thanksgiving project.  

This year’s campaign will go toward projects including a chemotherapy chair for the new Cancer Care Center; a specialty mattress for the Cardiovascular Suite; a “Neo-Puff” for the Childbirth Center, equipment that helps infants in respiratory distress; and a privacy screen for the hospital’s chapel relocation project.
